My Africa

As many of my friends and clients are aware – I love Africa. Here in Italy it’s called ‘mal d’Africa’ (lovesick for Africa!). Having visited around 25 times (including the majority of countries on the continent) and having built up relationships there and discovered some very special places run by some quite exceptional people, I have finally decided to share my love and knowledge of some of these places and experiences in addition to bespoke and long standing Italian portfolio.

I can assist in curating off the beaten track, exciting and memorable journeys within Africa to places which will leave you spell bound! Having ventured beyond the realm of since my first visit in 1994 to Zimbabwe, my multitude of travels have taken me beyond the fringe with adventures in countries including Tanzania, The Republic of Congo, Namibia, Madagascar and Malawi.

One comes home feeling a different person, enlightened by the smiley and friendly people, stimulated by the sky, sounds and smells, the connection with nature and, always, the quite remarkable level of service, cuisine and the wealth of extraordinarily beautiful places to stay.

Just like Italy, or indeed any country, tourism is forever increasing and the choices on the internet are overwhelming. I would love to provide assistance and guidance for anyone seeking what, if I may, call the ‘real’ Africa where time stands still and one is transported into another world.

With my numerous contacts and connections, my notable number of visits there (including for work), together with my heartfelt passion for this extraordinary continent, I know I can guarantee you too will experience the Africa I so love… just as I have done for so many years for all those wonderful and discerning clients for whom I have organised holidays to Italy.

Africa and Italy seem to be almost symbiotic and both leave one wanting to go back for more!
